We all love a Disney film and while we all have our own favourites, Aladdin is one of the more popular among all Disney films. In fact, it is Aladdin that inspired this Moroccan style wedding photo shoot. So, let us show you ‘a whole new world’ of wedding inspiration!

So, you think Aladdin, you think Morocco. When you think Morocco, you think of rich and dark colours. Things like burgundy, red, gold and cream. These rich colours work so beautifully together we are surprised they are used for more wedding colour themes.

Colour Scheme

So, you think Aladdin, you think Morocco. When you think Morocco, you think of rich and dark colours. Things like burgundy, red, gold and cream. These rich colours work so beautifully together we are surprised they are used for more wedding colour themes.

The main colours of the Moroccan style wedding photo shoot are burgundy, gold and cream. These colours were used throughout the wedding. With blankets and pillow, like you’d imagine in hareems or relaxing shisha bar in Morocco, right though to candlesticks, vases, lamps and more.

Florals

As you can see from the stunning wedding flowers, the theme and colours were matched to perfection. There were no bright green leaves standing out and detracting from the wedding theme. Instead darker leaves and reeds were used in the large wedding flower bouquets and just pure and simple darker blooms in the small vases throughout the table settings.

The Happy Couple

The bohemian head chain on the bride sat beautifully on her dreadlocks. It just added to the laid-back Moroccan feel of the wedding photoshoot. The hair left naturally down frames the brides face beautifully. The make up for the bride was kept natural but dark. The dark eyebrows and eyelashes against her beautiful brown skin, again just added to that Moroccan style for the wedding, staying natural but beautiful, in a stunning but laid-back way.

For the groom’s outfit, the cream of the suit blended in beautifully with the lighter shades throughout the wedding theme. The darker tie then just bought out the colour of the grooms’ dark eyes and clean facial hair.

The dress for the bride is a less traditional style but suits the Moroccan wedding theme to perfection. White is colour, but the pattern and material of the dress gives a huge nod towards the theme of the wedding. This gorgeous wedding dress would look just as perfectly suited at a Moroccan themed wedding in the UK as it would a Moroccan themed wedding abroad on a beach. It’s a truly beautiful dress that fits and complements the bride’s figure exquisitely.

Dreaming Of Cake!

Of course, we couldn’t forget the wedding cake. The glamorous golds of Morocco against the white of a traditional wedding cake, really make this cake pop. A lot of couples want their cake to stand out in all photos, and this cake certainly does that. It offers elegance, style and sophistication, while being completely on theme with the Moroccan style wedding.
